I figured I was going to like this because I enjoyed the prequel, but it was more than like, I really loved it!!! The character development was really good and I came to really root for Kendra and her journey. The journey itself was very interesting and totally creepy.
The descriptions of the settings and frightening things she was enduring were stellar and had me shivering with unease. There were a couple parts in particular that I had to exclaim, No, no, NO!!!! Out loud. Seriously. Ewwwww…
Anyway, this journey through Hell is totally intense and has a quick pace. It’s a very fast read once you really get into it. I definitely recommend this to those who like books of witches or even of a character who finds themself in the course of the book. I cannot wait to read the next one in this series!!!
