This was really great!! It was such an awesome premise that I was entertained from the first page. While Signal was not my favorite character by any means, I was still into her story. I also was a little annoyed with her name for some reason and kept hearing Sigil in my mind instead of Signal. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ But that’s my own mental hurtle!!
Otherwise, a camp for kids who have killed people that teaches them to get better at killing?!?! Well hell yeah I want to see how that unfolds!!! Each character has their own quirky thing going on and an interesting back story. While we don’t learn everyone’s background, we learn enough to like each member of the Teen Killers Club. I personally adore Nobody cause she’s just the shit. A fierce person in everything she does.
I kept trying to guess who the killer was in Signal’s story, whether it was her, someone she knows, or even a stranger that she’s never met. But I was soooo wrong on all my guesses, which is awesome!!! I was also wrong about most of my character judgements and I love a book that can surprise me. Makes for a super fun read!! Should I be concerned that I related to these teen killers?!?! 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I’m so glad I picked this up for October as there’s a bit of mystery, a chilling plot, and is a thrilling ride altogether. I recommend this to YA thriller lovers, but do watch out, there’s a bit of violence… I mean, the title kinda says so, but thought I’d verify. There is killing involved!!!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for allowing me to read this for my honest and unbiased opinion!!!
