My family and I recently moved into a new home and it’s been difficult getting settled in. We decided on a house that was much smaller than our previous house. Honestly our old house was too much for us to really take care of. Anyway, long story short, I had nowhere to put my books!!!!
That was obviously a huge problem for me, being the book obsessed person I am. I was searching for some bookcases and was having trouble finding something I thought would look nice until I stumbled upon a post that showed some ikea bookshelves being made to look like built-ins. When I showed them to my hubs I didn’t think he would even liked them. But I was wrong! He absolutely loved them and was eager to run out and get supplies to make them himself.

And that is our final project. Besides getting the rest of my books in there and add some decor. Sad thing is, I’ve only read a small number of these books!!!! I still want to read all of these!!!
Which brings me to my ultimate point, I’m going to read some of the books I actually own, rather than so many kindle books and ARCs. Cause, my small number of books that I’ve read!! There are only two shelves that aren’t even full with books I’ve read. We’ll see how this goes, because I love to get new books, especially books they are on sale. And, now I have all this space for more books!!! Oh wait, I’m on a book buying hiatus.
I think that also means I should stop requesting so many books from NetGalley too…This may be impossible!! At least I’ll still get my book boxes, Owlcrate, Book of the month, and sometimes Once Upon a Book Club.
Anyway, once I’m done putting in all my books and decorate the whole thing, I’ll post a picture of the completed project. I know I can hardly wait to be done. It is turning out better that I had hoped it would be. Thank you hubs for putting in the hard work. I definitely tried to give you all the positive energy I could!!! 😘
